Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Kalo Dental for your dental care.

Short-notice appointment cancellation, short-notice rescheduling, failure to attend or late arrival (of more than 10-minutes) disrupts service for other patients and our staff.

Due to our small business size and demand for appointments, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Our front desk will send you a reminder call or SMS one week prior to your appointment. Please read the text to confirm the date and time in your diary, then if you need to reschedule, please respond either by calling us on (02) 96655000 or replying to the SMS.
  • Failing to attend, rescheduling or cancelling appointments with MORE than one business days’ notice will not incur a cancellation fee.
  • Failing to attend, rescheduling or cancelling appointments with LESS than one business days’ notice will incur a fee of $75.00. Appointments at our practice are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.
  • When you are booking an appointment for your treatment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In circumstances where the appointment is for 60-minutes or greater, we ask you pay a deposit of up to 50% towards your treatment. This deposit is a credit towards your account and will be applied at the time of your treatment. In the event you cancel with short-notice or fail to arrive this deposit will need to be forfeited.
  • In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future treatments. This will be at the discretion of Kalo Dental.
